The EAT PROJECT was launched in 2016 as an NSF-funded collaborative project “Evolutionary Significance of Biotic Interactions: a Comparative Study Utilizing Echinoid Associated Traces” developed in partnership between Miami University Ohio (PI: Carrie Tyler) and the University of Florida (PI: Michał Kowalewski).

The project engages an expanding team of research collaborators, post-doctoral researchers, and students.
